What does it mean when we want to do something but feel that we aren’t good enough yet? It means we feel that we haven’t reached expert perfection with this particular skill yet at this time. But the message I see in my cards today (pulling from Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom of the House of Night) is that we are needed to apply our skills, SUCH AS THEY ARE, now. We are not called to be perfect. We are called to make our contribution now and to recognize that everything we do, everything we can contribute, really does help.
Confidence isn’t about us. It’s about setting aside silly neuroses and focusing not on ourselves but on the people who need us and who need our focused attention and skills in whatever condition our skills are in.
